 I am Dr. D. T. Barksdale, a community leader, higher education professional and educator, public speaker, program developer, researcher, and holistic development and wellness advocate. Additionally, I serve as the CEO and Co-Founder of LEADingWell.

While attending college at the University of Alabama from 2009 - 2024, I experienced various personal and professional developmental challenges that presented greater concerns which influenced my overall development. Life alone can be tough. I get it. I really do. So, in my greatest efforts of addressing these concerns, I began to realize that others were also having similar experiences and needed help as they were navigating life. My personal and professional developmental story is reason why I am purposefully passionate about helping others navigate life from a holistic developmental perspective.

With over 14 years of experience in career, education, leadership, and wellness development, helping others meet and exceed their personal and professional goals is my greatest joy and call to action. Whether these goals are individual or collective, I’m more than happy to assist.
